Here, I will talk about my diet experience and share tips on how I managed to lose 8.6 kg in just a month. (Not quite body goals yet, but I’m always grateful for the progress I’ve made, which makes me even more motivated hehe..)
So, here’s my diet story, where I almost gave up on dieting, frustrated because people around me kept teasing… I once dieted the wrong way, making my body drop and feel weak…
Finally, I proved my diet was successful in losing 8.6kg, and now I understand how to diet without suffering, a good eating pattern, and a healthy way to diet for the long term…
It started when I was about 4-5 years old, still in kindergarten. I already had a bigger weight compared to kids at my age…

From the photo below, you can see the point where I started becoming chubby (though I looked cute when I was little hehe).
I remember exactly why I became chubby, because when I was little, I loved to eat, especially spicy food… From a young age, I was trained to eat spicy food by my family, and I felt proud if I could eat spicy food. So, I always ate spicy food, spicy snacks, various sambals, basically spicy food made my appetite skyrocket.
As I got older… I got chubbier each year (hehe)… my weight increased by 7-8 kg every year. I became the fattest one in class, maybe in the whole grade… (hiks hiks hiks…)
From junior high school to senior high school, I felt I was at my heaviest because I joined the basketball team. Strangely, most people get slimmer with sports, but for me, I got even chubbier… (hahahaha different, right?)
The question is, why did playing basketball make me even chubbier?
The answer is because every time I played basketball, I ate a lot afterwards, eating more rice… And because I loved spicy food, I often ate rice with chili. If the chili wasn’t finished, my meal wasn’t over… (I kept adding more rice until the chili was finished…)
Because of my messy eating pattern, I became the fattest in class. Here are the photos… I was really the fattest compared to my friends… (I was so fat they joked it was an earthquake when I passed by…)
What Motivated Me to Lose Weight?
First, because my weight was the heaviest in class, I often experienced bullying. People around me kept teasing me… They said I looked like an elephant, called me a giant, and joked about an earthquake when I walked…
Honestly, it was sad because one of the guys who teased me was someone I liked (this hurt a lot..)
Second, because I dreamed of becoming an artist… (hehehe). Yes, I wanted to be an artist because I really love the entertainment world… And this person made me want to slim down because I once went to a casting and the producer suggested I slim down…
Third, and this is the most sensitive one, nobody had a crush on me… huhuhu sad…
